Jeff Myers was born in 1963 in Lawrenceville Georgia and born again in a nearby Fire Station in 1988. He attended Luther Rice Bible College for a brief time while serving on staff at First Baptist Church, Snellville from 1992-1994. During this time he was licensed into the Gospel Ministry and later ordained at Kings Way Bible Church in 2003.

With a call on his life as the evangelist, brother Jeff entered into itinerant ministry in 1995 allowing him to travel, as the Spirit would lead. In was then that God led him to form R.E.D. Ministries. He began a radio and writing ministry that eventually led to an opportunity in 1999 to preach in the underground Church in China. Much of this was a result of the encouragement he received from biographies and his friend Dr. Lewis Schoettle.

This was the beginning of what would become many missionary journeys. In May of 2005 brother Jeff received a letter from England asking him to pray about providing Bibles to Africa. Within a few months the Lord sent him to Kenya where he found a great open door.

Having seen the suffering of the people and the hunger for God’s word, brother Jeff was moved with compassion to ask God to make R.E.D. Ministries a channel of blessing to multitudes throughout Africa. God called him to a place of suffering that would later lead to much greater influence with the people.

In December of 2005 brother Jeff resigned from his career as a firefighter having served the people for 23 years, 14 as a bi-vocational evangelist. Having been called to live by faith, brother Jeff is now dependent on the prayers and gifts of God’s people to continue the missionary work that God has called him to.

By God’s grace brother Jeff continues serving the Lord throughout Africa as the evangelist of R.E.D. Ministries
