Church Design & Construction CCRC Mission Statement

 The mission of Church Design & Construction's CCRC & Revenue program, is to foster the development of, own and operate a system of communities and services for older persons, in accordance with the principles of Christianity. It intends to carry out this mission in local communities through partnering arrangements with established churches, education institutions and other organizations already serving that local community.

Church Design & Construction seeks to enhance the quality of life and independence of the elderly by providing high-quality services and health care and enabling resident-driven, independent lifestyles, so that each resident may realize his or her full potential. In all phases of its work, Bethel Point Foundation is guided by its basic Christian values.

Church Design & Construction is dedicated to serving older people. It's approach is based on the philosophy that retirement and growing older can bring new opportunities for growth and development.

Church Design & Construction's initial goals are to:

  • Integrate Christian values with services for older adults
  • Develop an intergenerational approach to community life
  • Emphasize continued learning and growth for residents and staff alike
  • Provide resources to partnering churches and other not-for-profit local organizations
  • Foster a culture of living

Church Design & Construction aspires to improve services to older people, in partnership with each of its communities and services, through:

ENHANCEMENT OF THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND INDEPENDENCE OF OUR RESIDENTS AND NURTURE A SENSE OF COMMUNITY, treating each resident as a valued individual and fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and caring;

PROVIDING A HIGH QUALITY HEALTH CARE PROGRAM WHICH OFFERS A CONTINUUM OF CARE, fostering wellness and treating each resident with dignity, regardless of age or condition;

CREATING A HOMELIKE PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT WHICH IS AS NONINSTITUTIONAL AS POSSIBLE and which promotes quality of life, security and wellness;

ENCOURAGING AND INVITING PEOPLE OF DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS to live in our communities and to serve on our staffs;

FOSTERING A HIGH QUALITY WORK EXPERIENCE FOR EMPLOYEES, recognizing that our communities must be good places to work if they are to be good places to live;

STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE IN MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE, seeking board staff dedicated to our mission and goals;

ENGAGEMENT IN CONTINUING EDUCATION AND EVALUATION to develop staff, improve services, and live up to our mission;

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY IN THE LARGER COMMUNITY, maintaining high ethical relationships and sharing our resources and experience;

PROVIDING LEADERSHIP IN THE FIELD OF CARE FOR THE AGING AND TAKING AN ACTIVE ROLE ON AGING ISSUES, thus contributing to improved services for all older people in our society.
