- Church Design & Construction recently partnered with the Georgia Baptist
Convention at their Church Growth & Facilities Expo. The Expo was held at the
First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Georgia.
CDC lead two sessions. We examined the critical issues that the Church faces, not only in the aspect of construction cost but in the potential cost of lost membership, tithes and trust if a risk management contractor is not utilized. Also taught was how to eliminate the risk of unusable architectural plans, the risk of insufficient construction loan financing, the risk of escalator clauses and the risk of non-guaranteed maximum price construction contracts.
